Teri and Jeff

I am a Glendora native with fifty proud years in this town. This is the community where my husband, Jeff, and I built our home, raised our four sons, and where we now welcome our three beautiful grandchildren. For years, I have balanced my career as a philosophy professor at Azusa Pacific University with a deep commitment to local civic life. Whether I'm helping organize the annual CROP Walk, diving into local discussions with Glendora Together, attending concerts in the park, or pulling up a chair at city council meetings, I believe in working right alongside my neighbors to strengthen the values we share: hospitality, sustainability, and real love of neighbor.

Having lived in Glendora through periods of both quiet and growth, I believe the time is now to invest wisely in our future. I know firsthand what happens when neighbors show up for each other while wrestling with change—we create more vibrant places where kids, seniors, and families can live, learn, and play together, and better opportunities for our local workers and business owners to thrive.

I bring the perspective of someone who has watched city decisions play out at the street level, who knows the names of her neighbors, and who has a genuine, long-term stake in how this district is governed. In 2022, the District 1 incumbent ran unopposed. A healthy local democracy thrives on choices, open dialogue, and fresh perspectives. Only through continuous conversation and working together can we secure the best possible deal for Glendora. I am ready for the work ahead, and I hope to earn your vote through honest discussion, accountability, and just plain showing up.
